The State Intellectual Property Office launches a pilot program for the approval of the use of special marks for geographical indication products

To implement the State Council's requirements on "streamlining administration, delegating power, and improving services" reform in the field of geographical indication management, and to steadily advance the reform of streamlining administration and optimizing services, and effectively improve the protection and management capabilities of geographical indication products. Recently, the National Intellectual Property Administration issued the "Notice on the Pilot Program of the Reform of the Approval of the Use of Special Marks for Geographical Indication Products by the Office of the National Intellectual Property Administration".
