The Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress adopted the decision on amending the Trademark Law (with a table comparing the old and new clauses)

On April 23, 2019, the Tenth Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Thirteenth National People's Congress adopted a decision to amend the Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China. The amended articles of the Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China shall come into effect on November 1, 2019. We have compiled a comparison of the new and old articles of the Trademark Law for your reference. The Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China was amended for the third time at the Fourth Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Twelfth National People's Congress on August 30, 2013 and amended again at the Tenth Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Thirteenth National People's Congress on April 23, 2019. The amended articles shall come into effect on November 1, 2019.

Zhongbei Rong becomes a strategic cooperation partner for Jinhua, Zhejiang in building a strong city strategy for intellectual property rights

To promote the creation of a national intellectual property demonstration city, build a strong intellectual property city, and support the innovative development of enterprises, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province held a symposium on "Building a Strong Intellectual Property City" and an intellectual property strategic cooperation signing ceremony on April 4, 2019, at the Jinhua Municipal Market Supervision Bureau. The Market Supervision Bureau invited representatives from relevant enterprises in Jinhua City, intellectual property agencies, and evaluation agencies to attend the meeting. Zhongbei, as a representative of intellectual property, participated in the signing ceremony. Our general manager, Mr. Dong Weifu, was named a Trademark Leader in 2016.

The 2016 China International Trademark and Brand Festival opened on October 27, 2016. A welcome reception was held that evening at the Kunshan International Convention and Exhibition Center. More than 1100 people attended the reception, including leaders from relevant national ministries and commissions, the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, and industrial and commercial and market supervision departments from various provinces and cities; officials from the World Intellectual Property Organization and foreign government departments; officials from the International Trademark Association and relevant national trademark industry organizations; renowned domestic and foreign intellectual property experts and brand economists; well-known domestic and foreign entrepreneurs; trademark agencies; and representatives from well-known media. Also in attendance were representatives from the Kunshan Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and the Kunshan Development Zone Party Working Committee and Administrative Committee.

North China provides intellectual property training for enterprises

On February 7, 2018, Zhongbei was invited to Luxi Group to conduct intellectual property training for the company. Lawyer Zhang from the Trademark Department and Minister Jiao from the Patent Department gave lectures on "Domestic and International Trademark Registration" and "Patent Application and Protection," respectively. They discussed the role of intellectual property in corporate development and operations, explained the importance of intellectual property rights using company-specific examples, and covered related content on intellectual property rights protection. Over 200 employees from various departments of Luxi Group participated in the training. The company stated that the training enhanced their awareness of intellectual property protection and improved their innovative drive.

The Fourth Member Representative Conference of the China Trademark Association was successfully held, and Zhongbei was re-elected as the vice president unit

From January 21-22, 2018, the Fourth Member Representative Conference of the China Trademark Association was held at the Beijing Science and Technology Hall. The conference elected a new leadership team, with Zhongbei re-elected as vice-president unit.
